Florida’s Commission for Independent Education notified Atlas on November 5, 2025 that its affidavit submission was incomplete and could not be forwarded for recommended approval. Atlas reports sending a revised notarized affidavit on November 6, 2025. The revised affidavit’s receipt and current review status have not been confirmed here. No Florida exemption determination has been issued to Atlas.
No degree enrollment
Atlas is not currently enrolling degree students, collecting degree tuition, or representing that it is authorized or exempt in Florida.
Programs under review
The Florida religious exemption is limited by statute to specified religious-vocation programs. Proposed program names, fields, degree titles, majors, duration, curriculum, and delivery must be reviewed against current requirements before enrollment or award representations.
Mission and scope
Atlas welcomes learners of varied beliefs. Any future program relying on a religious exemption must nevertheless be genuinely religious and remain within the scope allowed by Florida law.
No accreditation claim
Atlas does not claim recognized accreditation. A religious exemption, if granted, would not be accreditation.
Recognition and licensure
Atlas does not promise transfer, employer acceptance, professional licensure, or public financial-aid eligibility. Each receiving body decides recognition.

Florida provides a limited religious-institution exemption with conditions concerning the institution’s name, religious-vocation program scope, degree titles and documents, program duration, and consumer practices. Atlas has not received a written determination confirming that it qualifies.
