Accreditation & Affiliations

“Authority derives not from the state, but from the covenant.”

Accreditation and Recognition

Atlas University operates as a Covenant Institution of Higher Learning, established under a religious and ecclesiastical charter.
Our academic authority does not flow from secular accreditation agencies or state oversight, but from the divine commission to educate the Body of Christ and to advance sacred knowledge across all disciplines of human life.

Atlas is formally constituted under The Atlas Covenant Charter, a legal framework that recognizes education as a ministry of the Church and the extension of Christ’s kingship through learning.
This charter provides full legal standing for all educational and research activities under U.S. and international law, including:

  • The right to grant degrees in theology, psychology, education, medicine (terrain-based), law, and fine arts.

  • The right to operate religious and scientific programs free from state interference, consistent with federal and international religious freedom statutes.

  • The right to maintain a canon of academic publications, journals, and certifications recognized by ecclesiastical and private-sector partners.

Atlas’s degrees are recognized by all institutions and organizations that honor religious autonomy and covenantal education.
Our graduates hold spiritual and professional standing through The Covenant Registry of Scholars and Practitioners, maintained by the Atlas Council and its global affiliates.

We are formally recognized in Florida by the CTEE and in the United States, and able to legally issue all education degrees, including PhD, Masters, Bachelors, Secondary and Primary education

The Covenant Model of Accreditation

Atlas does not seek validation from the agencies of Babylon, whose standards have long divorced truth from virtue.
Our model of accreditation is Covenantal—based on authority derived from Scripture, intellectual excellence, and the proven fruit of the student’s work.

Each degree is verified through three pillars of recognition:

  1. Covenantal Legitimacy — grounded in our ecclesiastical charter and recognition by the Atlas Council.

  2. Scholarly Mastery — measured through publication, disputation, and canonical contribution, not GPA or credit minimums.

  3. Community Effectiveness — graduates are recognized for founding clinics, schools, churches, farms, and laboratories that manifest divine order in the world.

In this way, every credential issued by Atlas is both academic and spiritual—bearing witness to truth in both heaven and earth.
