I. INTRODUCTION

Section 1. Institutional Identity

Atlas University is a covenantal institution of higher learning established in the State of Florida to restore education as worship and to integrate theology, science, and the arts under divine law. The University operates as a nonprofit academic corporation governed by its Board of Trustees, chartered under Chapter 617 of the Florida Statutes.

Section 2. Institutional Purpose

Atlas University exists to form scholars and practitioners who glorify God through every discipline, uniting intellectual mastery with spiritual transformation. All instruction, administration, and research proceed from the founding conviction that education is doxology — that every act of learning is praise to the Creator.

II. ACCREDITATION AND LEGAL STATUS

Atlas University is incorporated in the State of Florida as a nonprofit educational corporation. It is authorized to offer degree programs in theology, psychology, medicine, arts, law, and science consistent with its Articles of Incorporation and Florida Department of Education requirements.

The University shall pursue institutional and programmatic accreditation consistent with its mission and standards of excellence, while maintaining full independence of faith and philosophy.

IV. GOVERNANCE AND FACULTY STRUCTURE

Section 1. Governance Model

The University operates under a Board–President–Faculty model of governance:

  • The Board of Trustees holds final authority.

  • The President executes strategic and academic policy.

  • The Faculty administers curricula and instruction within the covenantal framework.

Section 2. Faculty Compensation Policy

Atlas University honors the sacred labor of its professors through an equitable and entrepreneurial model of stewardship.
Tuition revenues are shared directly between the institution and the teaching faculty on a 50/50 basis.

This structure reflects the University’s covenantal ethos: professors are not employees but co-stewards of the mission.

  • Tuition per student: $10,000 per academic year

  • Tuition per half-semester term: $2,500

  • Faculty Share: 50% of tuition revenue from enrolled students per course

  • Institutional Share: 50% retained for operations, scholarships, technology, and growth

This transparent, covenant-based model ensures faculty are rewarded for excellence, while maintaining institutional sustainability and accountability.

V. ADMISSIONS POLICY

Section 1. Eligibility

Atlas University welcomes applicants of all nationalities who demonstrate:

  1. Academic readiness for higher education;

  2. A record of moral integrity and community service;

  3. A personal statement expressing commitment to truth, faith, and learning.

Section 2. Application Materials

Applicants must submit:

  • Completed application form

  • Official transcripts from prior institutions

  • Two references (academic or pastoral)

  • Personal essay articulating calling and purpose

  • Nonrefundable application fee of $100

Section 3. Evaluation

Admissions decisions are made by the Office of the Provost and respective Deans based on academic merit, spiritual readiness, and mission alignment.

Section 4. Transfer and Advanced Standing

Credits from recognized institutions may be transferred after evaluation by the Registrar, provided coursework meets Atlas academic and theological standards.

VI. ACADEMIC CALENDAR AND TERMS

The academic year is divided into four half-semester terms, each comprising eight instructional weeks.

  • Fall Term 1: August – October

  • Fall Term 2: October – December

  • Spring Term 1: January – March

  • Spring Term 2: March – May

A Summer Independent Study Session (June–July) may be offered for accelerated or research-based courses.

Each half-term carries 6–9 credit hours. Students typically complete 12–18 credit hours per semester, totaling 36 credit hours per year.

VII. DEGREE PROGRAMS AND ACADEMIES

Atlas University offers undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs through its core Academies (Academiae), each integrating theological foundations with disciplinary rigor.

1. Academy of Covenant Psychology

Degrees Offered:

  • Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Covenant Psychology

  • Master of Arts (M.A.) in Biblical Soulcraft

  • Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Covenant Psychology

Focus: The study of mind and soul through theological anthropology, cognitive renewal, and covenantal therapy models.

2. Academy of Terrain Medicine and Biological Theology

Degrees Offered:

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Terrain Biology

  • Master of Science (M.S.) in Terrain Medicine

  • Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in Biological Theology

Focus: Integration of medical science and divine design—training physicians and researchers to heal through natural law and spiritual wisdom.

3. Academy of Celestial Architecture and Sacred Arts

Focus: The art and architecture of divine beauty—building spaces that embody heaven on earth.

4. Academy of Covenant Law, Economics, and Governance

  • Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Covenant Law

  • Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Moral Jurisprudence

  • Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Theonomic Governance

Focus: Legal and economic systems built upon divine justice and stewardship, preparing reformers for civic renewal.

5. Academy of Biblical Studies and Translation

Degrees Offered:

  • Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.)

  • Master of Divinity (M.Div.)

  • Doctor of Theology (Th.D.) in Scriptural Philosophy and Exegesis

Focus: Intensive study of the Hebrew and Greek Scriptures, exegesis, hermeneutics, and translation within the covenantal framework.

VIII. CURRICULUM STRUCTURE

Section 1. Core Curriculum

All degree programs include the Atlas Core, a unified set of courses grounding every student in theology, philosophy, and cultural literacy:

Section 2. Academic Load

Full-time undergraduate students: 12–18 credit hours per semester.
Graduate students: 9–12 credit hours per semester.

Section 3. Evaluation System

Grades reflect not only mastery of material but also depth of insight, integration of theology, and moral integrity.
Letter grades (A–F) are issued according to a 4.0 scale, with qualitative faculty evaluations appended for covenantal mentorship.

IX. TUITION, FEES, AND FINANCIAL POLICY

Section 1. Tuition Schedule

  • Annual Tuition: $10,000

  • Half-Semester Tuition: $2,500

  • Application Fee: $100 (nonrefundable)

  • Graduation Fee: $250

  • Technology and Library Access Fee: $100 per term

Section 2. Faculty Revenue Share

Faculty receive 50% of tuition revenue from students enrolled in their courses. This policy reinforces shared stewardship and academic excellence.

Section 3. Institutional Scholarships

Atlas University allocates a percentage of institutional tuition share to Covenant Scholarships supporting veterans, missionaries, and economically disadvantaged students.

Section 4. Refund Policy

Refunds are issued according to Florida CIE standards:

  • 100% refund prior to first day of instruction.

  • 75% refund during first week of instruction.

  • 50% refund during second week.

  • No refund after third week of a term.

Section 5. Financial Integrity

The University operates as a debtless institution. All tuition and donations are used solely for educational, research, and charitable purposes.

X. ACADEMIC AND STUDENT POLICIES

Academic Integrity

Plagiarism, cheating, or falsification of records constitutes academic misconduct and may result in suspension or dismissal.

Attendance

Students must attend at least 80% of scheduled sessions per term. Repeated absences may result in loss of credit.

Code of Conduct

Students and faculty shall demonstrate holiness, humility, and scholarly discipline. Speech, dress, and behavior must honor the covenantal community.

Grievance Procedures

Students may appeal grades or disciplinary actions by submitting written petitions to the Dean of Students, then to the Provost, and finally to the Board of Trustees if unresolved.

XI. GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

To graduate, a student must:

  1. Complete all required coursework with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

  2. Submit a capstone thesis or project demonstrating integration of faith and discipline.

  3. Receive faculty and Dean approval.

  4. Fulfill all financial obligations to the University.

Degrees are conferred at formal commencement ceremonies held annually in Florida.

XII. LIBRARY, TECHNOLOGY, AND FACILITIES

Atlas University maintains digital and physical collections of theological, philosophical, and scientific resources. Its virtual library grants access to global databases and journals.
Each Academy maintains specialized laboratories, studios, and research centers consistent with its discipline.

XIII. ALUMNI AND CONTINUING EDUCATION

Graduates of Atlas University enter a lifelong fellowship known as the Atlas Covenant of Scholars.
Alumni receive ongoing mentorship, invitations to colloquia, and opportunities to teach, publish, or establish new Academies under the University’s banner.
